My Last Letter
Overview
My Last Letter is a joint venture between Arachnid Web Hosting and Damian Hawkins. The service enables people to write and store messages and upload attachments, which are then sent out after life.
The Need
My Last Letter uses a bespoke software program to monitor their customers’ well-being. This program needed to be integrated into a public website, which was yet to be built. The service also required secure account systems where customers could write, edit and save their messages on demand; create contact databases; upload attachments; and link attachments to messages, and messages to contacts.
Our Proposal
Arachnid proposed the following plan of action:
- Our software developers work closely with those of My Last Letter to design and build robust software programs for customers' accounts - ensuring user-friendliness throughout;
- Design and build a contemporary website, which would appropriately reflect the nature of the business; and
- Integrate the customer account functions and My Last Letter’s software program with the public website.
The Solution
Liaising closely with the My Last Letter team we designed and created the site and integrated the bespoke software systems. Both site and software underwent rigorous performance tests prior to the launch of the new service.
The Result
The joint venture was successfully launched online and has already generated both customers and – due to the nature of the commercial enterprise - significant media interest.
"My Last Letter’s website and the systems, which sit behind it are testament to the unrivalled skills of Arachnid’s people and their ability to immediately grasp and implement ideas and concepts. Outstanding work."
